Brad Pitt überrascht Lena Dunham an ihrem Geburtstag

Lena Dunham musste sich wohl mal beherzt in die Seite kneifen, ob sie nicht träumt. Denn im Rahmen ihres 33. Geburtstages tauchte doch tatsächlich niemand geringeres als Hollywood-Star Brad Pitt auf! Der Exmann von Angelina Jolie ist bekanntlich recht öffentlichkeitscheu, weswegen sich die Comedian geehrt fühlen kann, dass der Schauspieler wegen ihres Geburtstages überhaupt bei ihr auftauchte.

Lena Dunham bekam Geburtstagsbesuch von Brad Pitt!

Einmal Geburtstag mit Brad Pitt feiern. Vor einigen Jahren wäre das für Lena Dunham wohl undenkbar gewesen. Doch dank ihrer gemeinsamen Dreharbeiten für „Once Upon a Time in Hollywood“ lernte die Comedian den Hollywood-Star nicht nur von einer ganz neuen Seite kennen, sondern kann ihn heute sogar als Freund bezeichnen. Denn warum hätte sich Brad Pitt sonst die Zeit genommen, um Lena Dunham an ihrem großen Tag zu unterstützen? Die Comedian hatte zur Feier ihres 33. Geburtstages nämlich eine Spendenaktion für „Friendly House“, dem ersten Erholungsheim für Frauen in den USA ins Leben gerufen. Und der Hollywood-Star war einer ihrer prominentesten Unterstützer.

I may own a birthday bitch hat, but IRL I’m no big birthday bitch. For someone who loves both attention and presents, I’ve sure cancelled a lotta bday parties at the last minute (a special sorry to @mattpolf who had already hired a crafting teacher last year, and @lesleyarfin who was ready to DJ in 2011.) I used to think there was something a bit unseemly about an adult leaning into their birthday, until I realized I was actually just jealous of the confidence and self-love it takes to say “it’s my day, people!” I often felt I was making up for some original sin and that the nicest thing I could do for others on my birthday was make myself as unobtrusive as possible (it never worked and I usually either barfed or cried.) But this year is different. This year I’m… wait for it… happy. And so grateful for where I am, who I am, and everyone who has helped me on my journey to health & sobriety. 32 was good to me, and for 33 I wanted to say a big old thank you. So I hosted a Spring fundraiser for @friendlyhousela (the first recovery home for women in the United States) in LA last week. It was the best day ever and @anniecampbell literally brought a Pinterest board to life!!! And today, rather than presents, I’d love for you to donate to Friendly House, which is dedicated to helping women navigate the journey through addiction to recovery. It’s a journey I know first hand can only be attempted with love and support, which is why I have started a scholarship fund for women who are determined to recover but don’t have the financial means to begin. Fans von Lena Dunham sind wegen Besuch von Brad Pitt fassungslos

Ihren Fans flippten völlig aus, als Lena Dunham ein Bild von Brad Pitt auf Instagram postete. Doch die Comedian schenkte der Tatsache, dass ihr der Hollywood-Star persönlich zu ihrem Geburtstag gratulierte, überraschend wenig Aufmerksamkeit. Außer einem gemeinsamen Foto verlor Lena Dunham kein Wort über Brad Pitt. Doch ihre Fans waren daher umso überraschter: „Großartiges Posting, aber wo ist der Teil, in dem du uns sagst wie Sir Bradley Pitt riecht? Du hast so ein Glück“, schrieb ein Instagram-Nutzer neidisch. „Alles, was ich mir für meinen Geburtstag wünsche, ist eine Umarmung von Brad Pitt“, kommentierte ein anderer. Außerdem schrieben ihre Follower: „Ehm, Brad Pitt war auf deiner Party?“, „Lena sag uns endlich, wie Brad riecht“, „Warum sprichst du überhaupt nicht über Brad Pitt?“ und „Schaut mal, von wem Lena Dunham an ihrem Geburtstag gedrückt wurde!“.
